I am so glad to have found this site and was able to learn more about the unit my father served in. Ciro Mundaca served from May 63 to Apr 64 as a Medivac chopper pilot under the command of Major Kark now a retired Col. Ciro was stationed in Vung Tau or Nha Trangh, but flew a number of missions around the 7 mountains area. Some of the men he served with was "Spanky Congrove (Ciro's Co - Pilot, Tom Dooley (Medic), Jimmy Morrison and Jimmy Fields (Gunner Pilots).
